Ingredients

  • Vegan chick'n pieces
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 4 spring onions
  • 8 bamboo skewers
  • 3cm ginger, grated
  • 4 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1 ½ tbsp miso paste
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp agave
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sesame oil

Steps

  1. Chop the peppers into 2cm sized chunks and spring onions into 3cm parts lengthways.
  2. Roughly chop the chick'n chunks into 2cm-size pieces.
  3. Assemble the skewers.
  4. In a bowl mix ginger, garlic, miso, soy sauce, agave, chilli flakes, sesame oil and rice wine vinegar.
  5. Brush skewers with the sauce and leave to marinate for 10-15 mins.
  6. On medium, add the skewers to a griddle pan and lightly brush your skewers with sesame oil.
  7. Cook for a few mins on each side until the skewers are golden.
