Butter paneer
Ingredients
- 1 block paneer
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tsp minced ginger
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1 red pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 2 onions roughly diced
- 2 tins tomatoes
- 1 inch ginger
- 2 chillies
- ½ cup cashews
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp cayenne
- 1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves
- Rice
- Naan
Steps
- Soak the cashews in water
- Puree the tomatoes with the ginger and half the chopped chilli in a blender.
- Leave the tomatoes in the blender.
- In the wok cook the onion. Once mostly cooked add the peppers and then the garlic.
- Cook the rice.
- Add the tomato mixture and paneer to the wok and simmer until thickened.
- Without cleaning the blender blend the cashews with half a cup of water until smooth.
- Add the cashew cream and spices to the wok, use ½ cup water to rinse blender and add that too.
