Ingredients

  • 400g Chinese broccoli
  • ½ tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vegan oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • ½ tbsp cornstarch
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Steps

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add in salt and oil, quick blanch the Chinese broccoli.
  2. Remove the vegetables from the heat, drain and arrange on a serving plate.
  3. In a pan heat some oil, sauté the garlic till fragrant. Add in the sauce mixture.
  4. Cook over medium till the sauce thickens. Pour the sauce over the Chinese broccoli.
