Ingredients

  • 190g all purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • 10g matcha powder
  • 60g granulated sugar
  • 120g brown sugar
  • 90ml neutral oil
  • 60ml vegan milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 100g chocolate chips

Steps

  1. Stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and teaspoon salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  2. Combine matcha powder, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl.
  3. Add oil and stir, then add milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix together until well incorporated.
  4. Sift in flour mixture, and stir until just combined. Fold in 100 g chocolate chips.
  5. Cover and chill the dough in the fridge overnight.
  6. Preheat the oven to 190°C and line two baking sheets.
  7. Roll 12 balls of cookie dough and place on the prepared baking sheets. Leave about 2 inches between the cookies.
  8. Chill for 10 minutes then bake for 10 minutes until the edges begin to set.
