Apple and almond butter oats
Ingredients
- 2 apple, chopped
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of cardamom
- 1 cup oats
- 2 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 4 tbsp almond butter
- 4 tbsp coconut yogurt
Steps
- Heat a small pan over medium heat, add the coconut oil. Once melted add apple and sprinkle with cinnamon and cardamom. Cook until softened.
- In a saucepan add oats, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Bring to simmer and cook oats until they reach your desired porridge consistency.
- Sweeten with maple syrup to taste. Top with apple, almond butter and yogurt.
