  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup melted coconut oil
  • ⅓ cup tahini
  • 6 tbsp water
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 heaping cup dark chocolate chips

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until combined.
  3. In a large bowl whisk the brown sugar, coconut oil, tahini, water, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour the dry ingredients into the bowl of wet ingredients and use a spatula to combine.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop the dough onto the baking sheets into roughly tablespoon shaped balls.
  7. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool.
