Shirazi salad
Ingredients
- 3 Roma tomatoes, diced
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- ½ green pepper, diced
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander, chopped
- 1 tbsp mint, chopped
- ½ tsp sumac
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Steps
- Place tomatoes for a few minutes in a colander to release excess liquid.
- In a large bowl, place the diced tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and bell peppers.
- Add herbs, sumac, lemon juice and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Toss to combine.
- If possible refrigerate for 30 minutes.
