Ingredients

  • 100g butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cabbage, 2cm shreds
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Steps

  1. Melt half the butter in the casserole dish over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
  2. Add the cabbage and water and stir until the cabbage is evenly coated. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is just tender.
  3. Uncover, stir in the salt, pepper, and half of the remaining butter until melted.
  4. Remove from heat; garnish with additional pepper and the remaining butter. Serve immediately.
