Buttered cabbage
Ingredients
- 100g butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cabbage, 2cm shreds
- ¼ cup water
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Steps
- Melt half the butter in the casserole dish over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
- Add the cabbage and water and stir until the cabbage is evenly coated. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is just tender.
- Uncover, stir in the salt, pepper, and half of the remaining butter until melted.
- Remove from heat; garnish with additional pepper and the remaining butter. Serve immediately.
