Ingredients

  • 1 cabbage, cored and diced
  • 1 broccoli, cut into florets
  • 200g kale, stems removed
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ⅓ cup vegetable stock
  • 2 tbsp vegan oyster sauce
  • ½ tsp msg
  • 3 pinches salt
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • Toasted sesame oil

Steps

  1. In a small bowl mix half the garlic and ginger, soy sauce, vegetable stock, oyster sauce and msg. Set aside.
  2. Heat the wok over medium heat. Once warm add the oil and half the garlic and ginger with a pinch of salt. Sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the cabbage and kale. Turn the heat up to medium-high. Keep stirring and sauté for 1-minute.
  4. Add the broccoli and sauce with salt. Cover with a lid and reduce the heat to medium. Steam the vegetables for 3 minutes.
  5. Open the lid, add cornstarch slurry and cook until sauce is thickened. Remove from heat.
