Spicy cucumber
Ingredients
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp salt
- ¼ cup thinly sliced onion
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp gochugaru
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp vegan fish sauce
- ½ tsp msg
Steps
- Place the cucumber in a large bowl, add the salt, and gently mix them together. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Rinse the cucumber under cold running water to remove the salt. Pat dry and place in a clean bowl.
- Add the onion, green onion, garlic, soy sauce, gochugaru, sesame oil, sesame seeds, sugar, fish sauce and msg.
- Mix well to coat. Place in a sealed container and refrigerate.
