Ingredients

  • 3 potatoes, peeled
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp agave
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds

Steps

  1. Dice the potatoes into bite size pieces. Toss in salt, and set aside in a bowl for 20 minutes.
  2. Strain the water from the potatoes, and rinse the potatoes to get rid of excess salt.
  3. In a heated pan, add oil and stir fry the potatoes for 5 minutes on high heat.
  4. Add agave, soy sauce, garlic and water. Simmer until there is no sauce left and potatoes are fork tender.
  5. Turn off the heat and drizzle sesame oil over the potatoes, mixing to coat.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds as garnish, and enjoy hot or cold.
