Scrambled tofu
Ingredients
- 1 block tofu
- ¼ tsp ground turmeric
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- ½ tsp chipotle chilli flakes
- ½ tsp kala namak
- Freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp nooch
- ½ cup oat milk
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
Steps
- Drain and press the tofu, once done pat dry with a paper towel and crumble into chunks.
- In a bowl whisk the turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chipotle, kala namak, pepper, tahini and nooch.
- Pour in the milk gradually and whisk until you have a nice sauce.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Once hot add the tofu and cook until lightly browned.
- Add the sauce and fold until the tofu is fully coated. Continue to cook until it reaches your desired consistency.
- Finish with a few shakes of kala namak. Taste and season with salt as needed.
