Ingredients

  • 1 block tofu
  • ¼ tsp ground turmeric
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ tsp chipotle chilli flakes
  • ½ tsp kala namak
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp nooch
  • ½ cup oat milk
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Steps

  1. Drain and press the tofu, once done pat dry with a paper towel and crumble into chunks.
  2. In a bowl whisk the turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chipotle, kala namak, pepper, tahini and nooch.
  3. Pour in the milk gradually and whisk until you have a nice sauce.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Once hot add the tofu and cook until lightly browned.
  5. Add the sauce and fold until the tofu is fully coated. Continue to cook until it reaches your desired consistency.
  6. Finish with a few shakes of kala namak. Taste and season with salt as needed.
