Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of bread
  • 3 shallots
  • 2 garlic bulbs
  • 125g butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp miso
  • ½ tbsp chilli flakes
  • Cheese
  • Parsley, chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp agave

Steps

  1. Chop the tops off of the garlic bulbs and shallots. Place on foil and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Fold up the foil and bake at 180°C for 1hr. Leave to cool.
  3. In a bowl, squeeze out the garlic and shallots. Add butter, miso, chilli flakes, salt and pepper. Mix well until combined.
  4. Make slits in the bread and add the mixture into them. Top with cheese and grill at 180°C or until golden brown.
  5. Once golden and crunchy, top with parsley and agave. Slice to serve.
