  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar

  • 3 tbsp water

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a tray with parchment paper and set aside.

  5. Spread the cauliflower evenly on the baking pan and bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, combine ingredients from hoisin to garlic in a small saucepan over low heat.
  7. Bring to a simmer, add the cornstarch slurry, cook whilst stirring until thickened.
  8. Place the cauliflower in a large bowl and drizzle the hoisin sauce on top of the bites.
  9. Toss with a large spoon until all of the bites are completely covered with sauce.
  10. Place the cauliflower bites back in the oven and bake for 5 minutes.
  11. Take cauliflower bites out of the oven and top with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro.
