Ingredients

  • 450g brussels sprouts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chopped thyme
  • ⅓ cup vegan parmesan
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp cayenne
  • tajin

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 220°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add sprouts and cook until bright green and tender
  3. Let sprouts cool slightly and pat dry. Toss with oil, thyme, parmesan and garlic powder.
  4. Put the sprouts on the baking tray and use a small glass to smash the sprouts.
  5. Bake until the sprouts are crispy and deeply brown, 20-25 minutes. Flipping halfway through.
  6. When the sprouts are done, remove from the oven and season generously with tajin.
