Crispy golden tofu
Ingredients
- 2 blocks tofu
- 100g cornstarch
- 1 ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 ½ tbsp gochugaru
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 ½ tsp sugar
- 1 ½ tsp ginger, minced
- 3 tsp garlic, minced
- 3 spring onions, finely sliced
- 50ml hot oil
- Rice
- Pak choi
Steps
- Drain and press the tofu. Once done cut into slices.
- Pour the cornflour, black pepper, and salt onto a plate. Mix it in.
- Then coat each piece of tofu in the mixture and set aside.
- Cook tofu in air fryer until golden and crispy on both sides.
- Meanwhile, combine ingredients from gochugaru to spring onions in a bowl.
- Heat oil until shimmering. Pour over the sauce ingredients and mix.
- Blanch the pak choi.
- Serve tofu over rice and coat with sauce.
