Ingredients

  • 2 blocks tofu
  • 100g cornstarch
  • 1 ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 ½ tbsp gochugaru
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 ½ tsp sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp ginger, minced
  • 3 tsp garlic, minced
  • 3 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 50ml hot oil
  • Rice
  • Pak choi

Steps

  1. Drain and press the tofu. Once done cut into slices.
  2. Pour the cornflour, black pepper, and salt onto a plate. Mix it in.
  3. Then coat each piece of tofu in the mixture and set aside.
  4. Cook tofu in air fryer until golden and crispy on both sides.
  5. Meanwhile, combine ingredients from gochugaru to spring onions in a bowl.
  6. Heat oil until shimmering. Pour over the sauce ingredients and mix.
  7. Blanch the pak choi.
  8. Serve tofu over rice and coat with sauce.
