Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • ¼ cup nut butter
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 180˚C and line a loaf pan with parchment.
  2. In a bowl mash the banana and mix with everything but chocolate chips.
  3. If the batter is dry add 1 tsp milk at a time to make it pourable and spreadable.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour in the pan and bake 20 minutes until the edges are done and the middle is springy.
  6. Let bars cool completely and slice into fudgey squares.
