Banana bread baked oatmeal
Ingredients
- 2 large ripe bananas
- 330ml plant milk
- 60g nut butter
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups oats
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp salt
- Handful of chocolate chips
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- In an oven-safe tin mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
- Add the milk, maple syrup, nut butter, vanilla and salt. Whisk until combined.
- In a large bowl, mix together the oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the oats, baking powder and chocolate chips, mix well.
- Top with banana slices.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until the top is nicely golden.
