Ingredients

  • 4 plant-based burgers
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 sliced onions
  • ΒΌ tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of pepper
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 300g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Aioli
  • Spinach

Steps

  1. Heat the pan over medium and add butter. Once melted add the onions and sugar.
  2. Turn the heat down and cook, stirring occasionally until caramelized.
  3. Add the mushrooms and continue to cook until they are soft and caramelized. Set aside.
  4. Toast the buns with a little butter in the oven.
  5. Turn the heat up and add the burger patties to the pan. Cook on both sides.
  6. When the patties are almost done, put the mushrooms and onions on top of them.
  7. Put a slice of cheese on each one and cook until slightly melted.
