Chilli oil noodles
Ingredients
- Noodles
- Pak choi
- Tofu, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- Splash of dark soy sauce
- 1 tsp agave
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Chilli oil
- Garlic, minced
- Ginger, minced
- Black vinegar
- Sichuan peppercorns
Steps
- Bring a small pot of water to the boil.
- Meanwhile toast the sichuan peppercorns. Once toasted grind in the mortar and pestle.
- Cook noodles according to packet instructions along with tofu. At the last minute add the pak choi.
- Drain, rinse with cold water and set aside.
- In a bowl whisk soy sauces, agave, sesame oil, black vinegar, sichuan peppercorns and chilli oil.
- Add in the noodles, greens and tofu and mix until well coated.
