Butter mushroom rice
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp vegan butter
- 2.5 cups rice (cooked & cooled)
- 3 cups mushrooms
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 ½ tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp dashi powder
- Spring onions
Steps
- Add 2 tbsp of butter to a pan and turn the heat to medium-high.
- Once the pan is hot, add the mushroom, 1 ½ tbsp soy sauce and black pepper.
- Sauté the mushroom for 3-4 minutes or until fragrant.
- Mix 2 tbsp soy sauce, sugar, and dashi powder.
- Add the rice, sauce, and sauté for another 2-3 minutes. Make sure the rice is coated in sauce and butter.
- Finish off with another 1 tbsp of butter, and sauté on high heat for another 1 minute.
