Garlic pepper stir fry
Ingredients
- Vegan beef
- Oyster mushrooms
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp shaoxing wine
- 3 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp dark soy sauce
- 1 ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ tbsp cornstarch
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 onion sliced
- 1 red bell pepper sliced
- 1 green bell pepper sliced
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- Rice
Steps
- Clean and cook the rice.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing ingredients from hoisin sauce to water.
- Mix the vegan beef with the cornstarch, sesame oil, ginger, garlic and shaoxing wine. Coat the pieces well.
- Heat the wok over medium. Once hot, add in some oil then the onion and bell pepper and cook until slightly tender.
- Add the garlic and stir-fry until aromatic.
- Mix everything together then add in the vegan beef.
- Give the sauce another good mix to make sure the start isn’t sitting at the bottom.
- Pour in the sauce and then mix well to coat all of the pieces.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the pieces have absorbed the sauce and the sauce has thickened.
