Fig and cinnamon porridge
Ingredients
- ½ cup oats
- 1 cup oat milk
- 3 ripe figs
- ½ tsp vanilla
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
Steps
- Add the oats and milk to a small pot, simmer until cooked stirring frequently.
- Cut two of the figs in half and scoop the flesh out, then add it to a bowl.
- Use a fork to mash it up, then stir it into the porridge with the vanilla and cinnamon.
- Slice the remaining fig.
- Stir the maple syrup into the porridge and top with the sliced fig.
