Lemon garlic pasta
Ingredients
- Tagliatelle
- 2 lemons
- 3 tbsp vegan butter
- 3 shallots, finely sliced
- 8 garlic cloves, sliced
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp nooch
- 1 cup frozen peas
- Parsley
Steps
- Boil salted water in a pot and cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ΒΌ cup of pasta water.
- Melt the butter in the wok and add the shallots, cook until softened.
- Stir in the garlic, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes. Cook until the garlic is fragrant.
- Turn the heat to low and stir in the garlic powder, nooch, salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked pasta, pasta water and peas and heat until pasta is warmed through.
- Reduce heat to low, stir in the lemon juice and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
