  • Tagliatelle
  • 2 lemons
  • 3 tbsp vegan butter
  • 3 shallots, finely sliced
  • 8 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp nooch
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • Parsley

Steps

  1. Boil salted water in a pot and cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ΒΌ cup of pasta water.
  2. Melt the butter in the wok and add the shallots, cook until softened.
  3. Stir in the garlic, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes. Cook until the garlic is fragrant.
  4. Turn the heat to low and stir in the garlic powder, nooch, salt and pepper.
  5. Add the cooked pasta, pasta water and peas and heat until pasta is warmed through.
  6. Reduce heat to low, stir in the lemon juice and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
