Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 cup dates, soaked in hot water for 10 minutes
  • ⅓ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
  • ⅓ cup milk of choice
  • 6 tbsp oat flour (blend oats until fine)
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup dates, soaked in hot water for 10 minutes
  • ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
  • 6 tbsp milk of choice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup dark chocolate chips

Steps

  1. Add all the ingredients from black beans to 6 tbsp oat flour in a food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Press the mixture into an 8×8 square cake tin lined with parchment paper.
  3. Rinse the food processor, then add remaining ingredients except chocolate chips and blend until smooth.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips then spread the mixture over the brownie layer.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes. Leave to cool completely before slicing.
