Pasta bake
Ingredients
- 6 sausages with casings removed
- 6 vegan sausages
- 6 cloves garlic
- Chilli flakes
- 2 tins tomatoes
- 3 cups water
- Penne
- ½ cup cream
- ¾ cup grated hard cheese
- ½ cup chopped basil
- ½ cup grated mozzarella
- Fancy mozzarella
Steps
- Preheat oven to 180°C and line the casserole dish.
- In the wok cook the sausages and break into pieces. Add the garlic and chilli flakes.
- Once garlic is cooked add the canned tomatoes and simmer.
- Add the water and penne, simmer until pasta is cooked. Remove from heat.
- Stir in the cream, ½ cup of the Parmesan, and 3 tablespoons of the basil.
- Transfer to the casserole dish and sprinkle the mozzarella and remaining ¼ cup Parmesan on top.
- Bake uncovered in the oven for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining basil and fancy mozzarella.
