Sweet and spicy fried eggs
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- Spring onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 ½ tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar optional
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 ½ tbsp chilli oil
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tablespoon cornstarch
- Cooked rice
Steps
- In a bowl, mix ketchup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, garlic, chilli oil, water and cornstarch.
- Add oil to a pan on medium heat. Once hot, add the eggs and pan-fry for 2-3 minutes or until the edges become crispy.
- Pour on the sauce, and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
- Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds and serve over rice.
