Ingredients

  • 100g oats
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 250ml plant milk
  • 40g pecans
  • 4 dates, pitted
  • 50ml plant milk
  • ¼ tsp vanilla

Steps

  1. Add the oats, flaxseed, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup and milk to a bowl and mix. Divide into 2 jars then set aside.
  2. Add the dates to a bowl and cover with warm water. Leave to soak for 10 minutes, until sticky.
  3. Blend the dates, milk, vanilla and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  4. Divide the sauce between the two jars, spreading over in an even layer. Refrigerate overnight.
  5. When ready to serve, top with the pecans and a pinch of sea salt.
