Ingredients

  • 1 block tofu
  • 1 ½ tbsp gochujang
  • 1 ½ tbsp plum syrup
  • 1 tbsp mushroom seasoning
  • 1 ½ tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • ¾ cup vegan milk
  • ¾ cup water
  • 5 tbsp dried seaweed
  • 2 tbsp dried shallots
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Coriander, chopped

Steps

  1. Heat a pan on medium heat with some oil. Add the tofu in a single layer. Cook until golden on both sides.
  2. Meanwhile in a bowl add the gochujang, plum syrup, mushroom seasoning, soy milk and water. Mix well.
  3. Once the tofu is golden, add a splash of soy sauce and pour in the sauce.
  4. Add seaweed, fried shallots and roasted sesame seeds. Cover and let it simmer for a few minutes. Top with coriander.
