Jerk sauce
Ingredients
- 4 scotch bonnets
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 6 cloves garlic
- 5 stalks of scallion
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 ½ tsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp oil
- 7 sprigs of fresh thyme
- Juice of half a lime
- Salt & pepper
Steps
- Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until completely incorporated. Pour into a sanitised jar and place in your fridge.
