Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups nut milk
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • ¼ cup melted vegan butter
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Toppings

Steps

  1. Mix the milk, vanilla extract and vinegar in a small bowl. Set aside for about five minutes.
  2. In a large bowl sift the flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Add the sugar, butter and milk mixture into the dry ingredients and gently fold together until just combined.
  4. Preheat the waffle iron. Once heated spray with oil.
  5. Scoop out batter into the waffle iron. Close and let cook until done.
  6. Remove each waffle and place on a baking sheet in the oven on 95°C. Continue until batter is used.
