Peach iced tea
Ingredients
- 4 cups ice
- 2 cups water
- 2 english breakfast teabags
- 1 earl grey teabag
- 1 ½ cups water
- 1 ½ cups diced peaches
- 2 tbsp white sugar
- Sliced peaches
- Mint
Steps
- In a large heatproof bowl add the teabags to two cups of boiling water and let steep. Set aside to cool.
- Add water, diced peaches and sugar to a pot. Bring to a boil then lower heat and simmer for ten minutes.
- Use the hand blender to blend the peaches until smooth. Strain the peach syrup through a sieve.
- Leave the syrup to cool. Once cool remove teabags from tea and combine the syrup with the tea.
- Pour over ice and garnish with sliced peach wedges and mint.
