Iced brown sugar shaken espresso

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 espresso shot
  • ¼ cup oat milk
  • ½ cup ice

Steps

  1. In a small sauce pan, add ingredients from sugar to cinnamon on medium to low heat.
  2. Bring to a simmer, whisking every 30 seconds. Simmer until the syrup thickens, remove from heat.
  3. Pour the espresso shots and brown sugar syrup into a cocktail shaker.
  4. Shake for a minute until it is foamy on the top.
  5. Add in a few cubes of ice and continue shaking for another minute.
  6. Fill a glass halfway with ice. Add the coffee mixture. Top with milk and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
